Friday- Ended up in my bathing suit most of the day... wore this Land's End cover-up: THRIFTED, belt is a strap from an old camera bag.
Monday- Shorts: Ross, Top: Old Navy
...for WIWW. I think I fell down on the job this week, and I 'm hoping to do better next week.
I was also going to show this yucky little laundry room, and tell you that I have plans.
I was going to tell you that it started with this icky popcorny cottage cheesy ceiling...
BUT, then, this happened...
So, I called the plumber to fix the pipe, and he brought some very nice water abatement people with him. Now the kitchen looks like this...
The kids' bathroom...
And my closet...
It's noisy and a little hot, and the only easily accessible potty is downstairs. We can't cook, and we can't wash dishes. My plans for this week have fallen by the wayside, but I am trying to just roll with it. Soon enough, everything will be dry again, and we will start to get back to normal.
In the meantime, I am feeling particularly grateful. I have awesome neighbors that came over to help at 9 at night. They couldn't really help, but they sure tried! I have homeowners insurance, so this whole financial thing will not be on us alone. A bunch of popcorny cottage cheesy stuff came off the ceiling in the kitchen, and this may just be the time to rid ourselves of some more of the grossness and get a nice smooth ceiling (at least in one spot.) That's my week!

Thanks for you time and hope to see you soon.
Love that top in the first picture! So cute! So sorry about your water issues. How awful! Why does that stuff always happen when the men of the house are away? Ugh!
